For students with:
Low Self-esteem, Lack of Motivation
An overall assessment is needed to define the personal Thinking and Learning Style. It contains the case history of the student, psychological diagnostic tests to assess the cognitive development, standardized psychological personality tests, and questionnaires about habits, motivation and goals.
It takes 4-6 hours with the students, 1 hour with the parents to establish the case history and goals.
Evaluation and discussion of the assessment with all involved takes 1 hour.
Dyslexia or Dyscalculia Assessments
An assessment for dyslexia or dyscalculia is performed following the guidelines stated by WHO ICD-10. It contains a case history, a psychological diagnostic test for assessing the cognitive development and an evaluation of the skills in math and/or language to define the gap between potential and skills.
If needed it will be supplemented with other personality tests and questionnaires about habits, motivation and goals.
Reports and Attestations
Upon request, a written report will be provided. Dyslexia/dyscalculia assessments come with an attestation of the diagnosis and a report and suggestions for the accomodations to be given by the school to help to overcome the dyslexic/dyscalculic deficits.
Students will learn how to optimize their personal Learning Style with tailored strategies, and how to overcome exam anxiety and build up a better self-esteem.
